Gene and Marilyn did so much for his alma mater, Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, IL. In addition to tremendous financial support, they hosted many "connections" at their lovely Brentwood home, and numerous connections at the Riviera Country Club, The California Yacht Club, The Getty Museum, and more. They were always warm and inviting hosts. He was a very worthy recipient of The University's Distinguished Alumnus Award in 2000. He will be dearly missed by all his many friends and colleagues.
